This morning members from JKA Malta attended the European Sports Week Event hosted by SportMalta at the National Pool Complex.
Chief Instructor Sensei Dario Chircop was accompanied by Nicole Chircop, Liane Chircop, Endria Vella and Erika Galea Gusman, who gave a Karate demonstration and helped teach karate to many children of different age groups.
During the Karate demonstration, Sensei Dario Chircop explained some key points of self defence through a display of Jiyu-Ippon Kumite. The girls also performed two Katas, Heian Yondan and Bassai Dai.
We'd like to thank these girls for their time and effort, and most importantly Mr. Alexander Attard Littschwager for providing us this opportunity to shine a light on JKA Shotokan Karate.
To all the young students who participated in today’s event, we hope to meet many of you at the dojo to pursue the true meaning of JKA Shotokan Karate.
